I'm not a coffee industry insider. I'm just a guy who spent decades out in the wild — hunting, fishing, camping — and never found a coffee that felt right for the life I was living.

Most specialty coffee is built for the café. Old Guy Outdoors was built for the trailhead, the campfire, the early morning hunt before anyone else is up. Coffee that's strong enough for the conditions, interesting enough to actually look forward to.

So I started sourcing and roasting my own. The Cowboy Blend came first — bold, no-nonsense, named for the kind of morning where you need something that means business. Then came the Mexican Chocolate, the Cold Brew, the Latin American Blend. Each one crafted with the same idea: great coffee shouldn't require a fancy setting to enjoy.

Old Guy Outdoors is still a small operation, and I want to keep it that way. Every bag ships from here, roasted fresh, with the same care I'd put into packing my own gear.
